  • Again, and again, an essential release from Kettel. The melodies in this "Yellow Baron" EP are so alive and well constructed that you wonder if it's possible to sound better than this. It is the lo-fi sound of his debuts, but executed with a perfect enthralling wizardry. Add 2 or 3 tracks to this EP and you've got a fantastic album that could have been equally good to his "Through Friendly Waters" masterpiece. Note that Reimer made a lot of mind-blowing unreleased tracks heard in his livesets from this 2003 period which have the same flavour as the tracks from this EP. So many of them are now forgotten. Frustrating, you said? ; )
