  • "Life is a pressure, when life is a pressure, when life is a pressure, when life is a pressure..." The vocal snippet at the core of these four mixes is definitely a good building block for a strong track...however, only one mix of the four delivers the goods. Nova, Anthony Acid, and Storm all turn in solidly built tribal tracks, but they all suffer from the same problem: if you aren't going to build up the track to something explosive, the track should be explosive to begin with. Then there is Charley Casanova's contribution. Casanova's take is one of the sickest, most raucous tracks I have ever freaked out crowds with. It is the musical equivalent of a gang fight, blasting out of the speakers with a massive bouncing kick and a groove that sounds like heavy machinery slipping a gear. Add flanges and the notorious bassline from a certain 90's rap track (think big, fake nose), and the P.A. system owners will hate you. But not the crowd. The record is worth having for Casanova's mix alone. Unfortunately the other three don't quite stand up next to it...but they still wouldn't sound out of place in a tribal set.
